short term decisions

I have decided that priority one is to get Canada to work out. If that doesn’t happen, I’ll either look in to going back to Thailand for a while or going up to Norway to work. Possibly at Hurtigrutten as Elisabeth Jusnes mentioned to me.

Feeling generally great today,  went with Carl to shop for tomorrow and looking forward to a nice evening. Spent most of the day on the phone to a bunch of people I haven’t talked to for a long time. Wanted to call more people but either I didn’t have their number or they didn’t pick up when I called.

cheerio.

indecisions are my life

my biggest problem is that I have to many dreams, scattered into to many different areas. I really want to have my own hotel, start a political career, study more (in itself a  boundless area), write a book, work for various companies, travel the world and so many more things. And these are only bigger things, smaller dreams there are even more of like moving to Canada, working in Norway, visit friends, read all the books I want and so on. I know I cannot do everything and without focus and persistence nothing will ever be as good as it should be. It is just a question of making some decisions.

and yeah, please comment on my blog entries, it makes me more likely to keep this up.

looking towards the future

another Christmas has passed. It has all been very nice and relaxing. Spent Christmas Eve (The real day of Christmas in Sweden) in Strövelstorp with the extended family. Otherwise I haven’t done too much, hanged out with Johan yesterday, helped him with emptying his old flat.

Today has been spent getting my papers ready for my visa application for Canada. The nature of my life makes it quite a big task as I need police reports from every country that I have lived in for more than six months since I turned 18. But all the papers are now sent and there isn’t much I can do until they come back and the actual application for the Canada Sweden Youth Mobility Programme. Just hoping that there are still spaces left by the them I get everything in order.

Life’s looking up and I have realized that I really enjoy working at the School, even though it is quite though always being in different groups. Canada seems like a neat plan, just hoping that I get the visa!

Christmas

The time is finally here when I get a few days off. Next working day will be on January 2nd if nothing else happens. Seems like there will be plenty of work, at least for the beginning of the month.  Decorated and installed my Christmas tree yesterday, the first time I have one of my own. Will upload pictures when I find the cord for it. Had dinner with Robert, Carl and Andre yesterday at Gyllene Prag, an old time favoruite spot of mine. Spent a lot of time drinking there a couple of years back and it was nice to go there again. Afterwards me, Carl and Robert hanged around in the flat, composing some ideas for comedy sketches. All in all an enjoyable day, though I was incredibly tired by the end of the evening and passed out as soon as they left.

Spent most of today cleaning and finally getting this flat into shape. Still more to do in the kitchen but it should hopefully be done today. Otherwise nothing new really. The Canadian Embassy has just published new info for their working visa for young swedes and are looking into applying. So more on that soon.

Being back at home

Leaving the UK felt like quite a failure, none of the plans that I had in mind had worked out and there was no money left. Were quite depressed for a while but it was also nice to just relax.

Since coming back home to Sweden I have done the following:

  • Worked as a substitute teacher (ages 6-16, all subjects)
  • Meet Sara J. and Matias at a party at Sara’s in Malmö
  • Gained far too much wheight
  • Moved into my sisters old flat, temporarily.
  • Hanged out a bit with Carl and Robert.
  • Met Christoffer a couple of times.
  • Tried to plan the future.

Hood

Feeling better now, working on loosing some wheight and considering moving to Canada for a year to work and travel. Will apply for a visa as soon as it is possible. Otherwise I might do something else, whatever comes along that seems nice enough.

 Cheers everyone, Pär

up an running

After quite a bit of fiddling around with details it seems I have this new blog under control. Decided to host it with wordpress.com instead of doing the extra work of installing wordpress on dwyfl.org and the occasional downtime that server has. But I’ll see how it works out and if I’m not happy it can always be moved at a later date.

So I decided to start blogging again

Not really sure what to do with my life and the idea to use a blog for the next project came up. And why not start the blog before I know what it is. Will see if it actually works… /pär
